Verdict

Quick N Quirky seemed to appreciate the step up to a mile last time and can go close again, while Weekend Offender won his maiden over seven furlongs here last week and looks progressive, but preference is for Charlie Appleby’s BLAIR HOUSE. He quickened to win cosily on his debut and is a well bred miler with considerable potential. Midnight Macchiato ran well when finishing second in a decent Newmarket handicap last time and is capable of making the frame in a competitive race.
