    Verdict

Few of the newcomers make much appeal so this is likely to go to one with experience and the vote goes to Windy Prospect, who is preferred to Coleorton Dancer and Gypsy Fair. The last mentioned came up against the speedy Lady Filly (a winner again since) on her debut at Thirsk but was well held that day and needs to improve to trouble the selection. Coleorton Dancer hails from a stable that has been among the winners and he should improve for his first outing. James Given's Miss Good Time did not beat anything home at Yarmouth on her debut but is likely to be better than her showing there. Of the newcomers, Dance Anthem makes most appeal on pedigree being a son of Royal Academy but the one they all have to beat is Windy Prospect. Paul Blockley's colt has been given a break since finishing fifth in the Brocklesby last time but a reproduction of his form there should suffice in this company.
