In depth

Verdict

A highlight of the Market Rasen season. Nicky Henderson is targeting this Listed contest with the top two in the weights and there is little to choose between the pair. Henryville came right back to form when a facile scorer at Newton Abbot and is the archetypal hold-up merchant who needs everything to fall right. That was a first success since May 2017 so we'll pass him over in what is a much tougher assignment. One suspects that this has long been the plan for Gortroe Joe and the Skelton inmate should not be ignored but GET OUT THE GATE is a speculative choice. The drop in trip could well suit, he has taken well to fences and also produced sufficient speed over hurdles earlier this year to run well in Listed company. The Newland pair of Ronava and Trigger Nichol are also respected along with Darcy Ward.
