    Verdict

Nicky Henderson has a good record here with a select number of runners and GUNNERY should add to the stable strike rate. He understandably found life difficult in the Ascot Stakes at the Royal meeting but had previously delivered a hurdling debut of notable promise when beaten under a length at Bangor by Dream Machine with the remainder comfortably accounted for. Robin Of Sherwood didn't run too badly when third to Parody at Newton Abbot and looks next best with Yorbelucky the possible improver on show but he looks more one for handicaps further down the line.
