Verdict

Shady Glen is a summer ground performer but he's better over further and needed his comeback last year. VOLVALIEN won a handicap at this level at Sedgefield before stepping up in grade at the same track where he led for a long way over further. He can make all here though Movie Legend has only narrowly been beaten in two of his three starts over fences, all on this track, and blundered his way round in the other. The Society Man is another making too many mistakes but neither of the remaining pair are out of a tight little handicap.
