A promising two-year-old, LYDIA’S PLACE failed to win last year and tumbled down the weights as a consequence. But she returned to action with a close-up third at Newcastle last month and the winner has since gone in again. Kinloch Pride bids for a treble having won at Catterick during the week and Emerald Secret was placed in a lower grade at Newcastle recently. Carlton Frankie won a maiden at York in October and Bond Bombshell is 5lb higher than when scoring over track and trip in the same month. Mininggold is not badly treated but Swirral Edge has something to find with the selection.
