In depth

Verdict

JEZKI hasn't looked the force of old in his last two runs including in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham where he faded from the last after getting himself into contention. That was only his third run since sweeping all before him in 2015 and he may be better over this shorter trip nowadays. Hidden Cyclone has been placed brilliantly by Shark Hanlon to win 17 races and his Flat speed invariably gets him into contention over timber. He's effective on any ground and Patrick Mullins has a very good record on board. Diakali finished 15l behind him over 2m2f at Leopardstown last month though that was his first start since the Galway Festival in July and he should get closer. The remaining trio have plenty to do against such strong opposition including Henry De Bromhead's recruit from Mark Johnston, Stars Over The Sea.
