Verdict

The rare combination of Dermot Weld and Ruby Walsh look set to land this with GRECIAN TIGER. He hasn't quite hit the heights expected after his excellent form around this time a year ago but a couple of recent placed efforts on the Flat will have sharpened him up for this. Golan Lodge landed a Fairyhouse bumper in February and has a fine pedigree for jumping so he's on the short-list while Wexford bumper winner Hows Patsy made a promising start over timber at Roscommon and can only improve. Moylisha Tim and Thats Nice have both won bumpers though the latter hasn't done so well when tackling hurdles and though Edith Somerville ran well at Cork last month she has yet to tackle this sort of ground.
