Everything here points to a big run from APACHE GOLD, who is running well and was conceding 7lb when narrowly beating Barbeque at Cork last October and is better off with the latter after her victory on that track last month. The first-time visor worked for Zakhrafa at Roscommon where, in receipt of 10lb, she had Avalanche almost two lengths behind in second. The latter has the call at the revised weights and has been racing over further so looks a threat to all under Pat Smullen. Jealika was just behind the selection when they occupied the places at Gowran while Western Seaboard has been racing over the minimum trip and has yet to prove she stays this far, though she had Clear Focus behind when runner-up at Bellewstown.
