Verdict

Wakea won a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last month in a canter and with three all-weather victories in the UK to his credit should have the pace to make a bold bid. But WEATHER WATCH won a Tipperary maiden hurdle on good going last month and has a victory over this trip on fast ground at Leopardstown to his credit so he looks the one to beat. Asbury Boss won a 1m4f maiden here in 2014 and has generally raced at a high level subsequently so he's no forlorn hope while Liberality showed promise for John Gosden and will be better for her first start for new connections.
