Verdict

Fifth In Line tries 1m for the first time having finished second over 7f here 11 days ago. David Flood's three-year-old may find a couple of these too good at the weights, however, with I Confess hoping to regain the winning thread having been found out in better company last time. David Evans' gelding had the odds-on The Big Haerth back in fourth when scoring over 7f at Wolverhampton in November, though the latter is better off at the weights here. But GALLANTRY may be the one to beat, despite some indifferent efforts since his win at Kempton, as he usually competes at a higher level than this.
