A very open contest to start the card and we will give a tentative vote to Long Weekend, Night Storm and Appolonious are two of many dangers. The selection, a course winner in December, appears back to his best following two promising runs here recently. He was only just pipped by Balerno over this trip last time, with many previous winners behind. There is no reason why he shouldn't run his race again and he looks the best option. Night Storm was successful over the six furlong trip here last time, comfortably beating Hadath, he should be in the shake up despite his big weight. Appolonious wasn't beaten far in banded company last time and gets in here on a very tempting mark. Meanwhile Grumpyinthemorning hit winning form last time and is another to consider. So all in all a very competitive race and Long Weekend is the percentage call.
Night Storm 10-1 Chased leaders, led over 1f out, ridden out, won at Lingfield 6f sll (G4) pol beating Hadath by 1l, 10 ran.
