Balerno comes her in good heart and looks the pick of the weights, the main rivals appear to be Yamato Pink and Warren Place. This son of Machiavellian holds his form well and after landing a competitive handicap in February came back here to chase home the well treated Secam. He still looks on a decent mark and can beat this mainly out of form bunch. Yamato Pink is relatively lightly raced and did well to finish just a length behind Trifti last time. Progression can be expected and she should be capable of getting into the money. Warren Place is no world beater but did manage to get into a place in a Wolverhampton maiden last time. He doesn't look over burdened in this handicap and should be in the shake up. Binnion Bay also has the form go close, but Balerno stands out here in a modest race and gets our vote
