      Verdict

      Barry Island has slipped to a very lenient mark and so is entitled to go very close, however he hasn't looked to be the happiest of horses this year, and so slight preference is for Paparaazi who is back on a winning mark. The selection has been running over trips too short, and this return to ten furlongs will be right up his street. His stable is in good form at present, and he looks to be the one to be on. Barry Island would take this if back on song, but he has looked lacklustre recently and so cannot be truly fancied, whilst Linda's Colin would prefer a shorter trip and although Blackmail is a course and distance winner, he isn't one to trust. Scuzme returns to the flat after three lazy hurdles efforts but doesn't look to be a major threat, and the rest look very average, although Christmas Truce would be interesting on old form. This isn't a race to set the pulses racing, however for the winner we select Richard Fahey's Paparaazi.
