Verdict

Decider is selected ahead of Succeed and Gifted Lass in a tough curtain raiser to the card at Kempton. Gifted Lass has started to look more like the finished article of late and shapes as if she can continue to pay here way at this level. Five furlongs suits her ideally and she will be hard to keep out of the frame if she copes with the track. Succeed had been knocking on the door before she finally got off the mark in a similar contest at Wolverhampton 12 days ago. She does have a bit more to do from a 4lb higher mark, though and she needs luck on her side. The Fisio is another worth noting in the betting, as he is very well treated at present despite having only a solitary victory to his name since May 2004. He is worth noting for signs of each-way support. Even so, preference is given to Decider, who still has scope to improve and, with the form of his latest start working out well, the Milton Bradley-trained colt is fancied to have the sufficient ability to pass this latest test with aplomb.
