In depth

Verdict

Banish has been beaten less than a length over 7f here in both starts to date. He’ll be winning soon but RAVEN’S CORNER is just preferred in this. The latter stayed on to claim second in the closing stages over 7f at Chelmsford last time and this extra distance will suit. Critical Speed has some catching up to do to match the above pair but newcomers to note include the 400,000gns gelding Jabbaar, a half-brother to Group 1 winner Integral among others, and the US-bred Egyptian.
