Verdict

Hazamar showed enough in his first campaign to suggest he'll be winning soon but comes up against race-fit rivals. Kitten Loves Roses also showed plenty of promise but he has an even longer absence to overcome. Monarch started odds-on for his debut at Limerick last month and though getting to the front inside the final furlong had nothing left when Maneen and VOCAL EXPERIENCE swept past. The latter had the advantage of experience but looks a smart prospect and is taken to go one better. Rum Shack needs to find more after his debut at Dundalk but St Gallen caught the eye on his introduction there in December and should have more to offer. Atlas was third in a huge field at the Curragh and, if acting on this much quicker ground, can get into the action.
