In depth

Verdict

The veteran Abou Ben is a useful hurdler who ran over fences last month before making all over 1m6f at Listowel. He'll like the ground and is fairy handicapped though Caim Hill wasn't far behind and the longer trip is in his favour. Darroun looks a bit high in the weights on what he's achieved on the Flat and Admiral Barry hasn't won a race since 2010. LITTLE GREEN appears to be improving despite her age and followed her victory over 2m1f at Clonmel with another fine effort at Ballinrobe. She's at the right end of the handicap and is taken to add to her winning tally. Anshan Dreams scored over hurdles at Galway in September and could be a threat if fit enough after an absence.
