In depth

Verdict

Danfazi has been knocking on the door but has been a beaten favourite in his last two starts and lacks the scope of some of these. Captain Ryan has been gelded since finishing third at Goodwood and looks nothing special but Sartorialist showed promise at Chepstow and should improve on that while Dawnfromthepast was very green on debut at Brighton. MONSIEUR BLANC also showed signs of inexperience at Windsor but will know more today and the drop back in trip might suit at this stage of his career. He gets a tentative vote as Scooping will surely need further than this.
