In depth

Verdict

Penny Serenade went to Fairyhouse on Wednesday with what looked like a good chance but she could only manage fifth in a three-year-old handicap. She may find this too tough, a remark that also applies to another from her age group, Rock On Coco. Mount McLeod ran poorly on soft ground at Limerick last time and is better on the all-weather but it's about time COOKIE CRUMBLES was winning on Turf and this could be her day. She's been very consistent without quite managing a finishing burst but the opposition here shouldn't pose too many problems and Ian Brennan's claim is a bonus. Tamujin has been placed once in 16 starts and is another with better form on an artificial surface.
