In depth

Verdict

Compton Chick is taken to score despite top weight. The mare from the John Mullins yard has shown form on all types ground and was a fair fourth behind Max Pride at Exeter last time form which has since been franked so she is therefor the TEAMtalk selection. Amwell Star looks well in on her best form but her best form is on fast ground and for that reason is passed over. Scratch The Dove was a fair second to Binny Bay on soft ground at Bangor prior to disappointing on fast ground last time. If the filly by Henbit reproduces that form she will not be far away. Beeches Girl has also shown a modicum of ability but she looks a suspect stayer even over this trip. Saga Royale was well beaten in a seller last time and needs to improve. The remainder need to show improved form to take a hand in the finish.
