In depth

Verdict

Bill Turner's Ede'Iff is bound to be popular following a second win in her last three starts when beating Brady Boys by six length in a Ludlow seller. However, the daughter of Tragic Role was entitled to win that race and this looks a tougher contest so she may be opposable. Max's Micro, a winner of a Leicester claimer last time, is another who comes into the reckoning especially in receipt of weight from most of his rivals but the one that they all have to beat is Tommy Trooper. Paul Nicholls has dropped both Beyond Control and Roman King into selling company with notable success this term and it may well be the same story with the Infantry gelding here. Not disgraced in handicap company behind Lawz at Fontwell last time, this represents a much lesser task and he can take advantage of the drop in grade. Sheskinqueen is well treated on her best but has shown very little worthwhile form for some time. Charlatan, Le Guvnor and Nailbiter are all open to improvement but look out of their depth.
