Just the seven runners to choose from and in a poor contest it is probably worth siding with Henrietta Knight's unexposed novice Keep Smiling. The son of Broken Hearted showed his potential when winning at Bangor in October but failed to reproduce the form when upped in class at Cheltenham subsequently, beaten when unseating jockey Jim Culloty in the race won by the Festival-bound Tarxien. The selection looks reasonably well treated on his handicap debut off a mark of 105 and may be up to the task of giving weight away all round. The Simon Lewis-trained Executive Office should be capable of confirming Warwick form with Our Tommy, even on these revised terms. The Land Agent has been on the downgrade for some time now and makes very limited appeal even over his ideal trip and, while Gue Au Loup showed signs of a return to form on his most recent start, he does not look good enough. Katie Buckers has shown very little worthwhile form since winning at Uttoxeter in May and Pete The Parson hails from a stable out of form.
