In depth

Verdict

Lord Conyers was most impressive when landing a seller from some much higher rated horses last time a he can follow up today, at the expense of Indian Warrior and Pappy. It was a much improved performance from the selection, slamming Eastern Hope by an easy five lengths. This is pretty much a drop in class and so long as that wasn't a flash in the pan, he looks to have very strong claims here. The rest appear to be quite closely matched but Indian Warrior put in some solid displays last season and should be spot on following a couple of recent efforts. Meanwhile Pappy is from a yard that lands numerous events similar to this and his recent fourth to Rathmullen looks very good in the context of this event. So yet another tough race for punters but Lord Conyers can land the spoils.
