In depth

Verdict

Ballyfinboy is in good shape and was winning for the second time in three starts when successful over hurdles at Downpatrick eight days ago. He's only 2lb higher than when scoring over fences at Tramore last month so has to go on the short-list again. Hop In is still a maiden over fences but has shown a measure of ability while Harangue wasn't beaten far off a similar mark over the larger obstacles at Punchestown last month. WESTHAVEN should be approaching peak fitness after three quick runs. He was bang in contention until the second-last at Downpatrick on his latest outing and gets a narrow vote here with Abarta raised 5lb for winning at the same track last time.
