In depth

Verdict

Bishop Roko has been off the track for over a year but won his only start so far by six lengths at Newbury. It remains to be seen if he retains all his ability and SPIFER is preferred. Marco Botti's charge scored over track and trip in January and ran well when fifth in better company at Epsom last time. He makes more appeal than English Summer and Fennell Bay who are both better over 1m4f nowadays while Romeo Montague needs even further to show his best. Newmarket winner Expert Fighter has something to prove off his current mark but has scope for further improvement on his return.
