Progressive, unexposed and an easy winner on handicap debut NADDWAH looks to have decent claims on this handicap and is given the nod ahead of State Gathering and Gracious Melange. The selection ran a solid debut on his only start as a juvenile before coming back this season to be unbeaten in two runs. The latest of those was a cosy score on his first run in a handicap and with more improvement likely he should overcome a fair mark rise to score. State Gathering was also a comfortable winner on his last run which was a debut on polytrack. His revised mark looks a fair re-assessment and if continuing on this improving run of form he should go close. Gracious Melange won her debut over course and distance before only just being denied again when given this assignment on her handicap debut. She's up 4lbs for that which is far from positive but she looks to be heading in the right direction. On the pick of his form Shamir is still off a competitive mark but has a bit to prove after his last outing so Naddwah should win with plenty more in the locker.
