Verdict

The bookings of Ryan Moore and Kieren Fallon suggest that big runs are expected from VOLCANIC DUST and Melodize whilst the exposed Master Macho shouldn't be ignored. Preference is for Volcanic Dust with the Champion Jockey three from 13 on the yard's juveniles in recent seasons and particularly effective at this track. The filly has pulled too hard on each of her last two starts so Moore will need to get her to settle better but the return to racing over the minimum will surely help and enable her to fulfil her promise. Melodize was well beaten at Thirsk but faced a different class of opposition that day and should fare better at this level whilst Master Macho, who has had 15 races already this season, holds her on that form and shouldn't be underestimated. Best Be Careful stayed on well to beat a consistent performer at Lingfield and may have more to offer whilst Frankish Dynasty has experience of the track and can't be ruled out but he may be grounded by Volcanic Dust.
