Verdict

Fontanesi, Fool On The Hill and Catch The Perk are three against the field in this tight affair and the vote goes to Fontanesi. The selection has been in fair form of late and was just ran out of it close home by Nawames at Aintree last time, the pair were well clear on that occasion and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Fool On The Hill rates the main danger he was a good fourth behind Royal Shakespeare last time but he may need the run after a 48 day absence and for that reason he is opposed. Catch The Perk won well last time out when defeating Polyphon but that form has since been let down and this looks much more competitive. Of the remainder Rival Bidder is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Fontanesi.
