    Verdict

Mcginty's Dream won over this trip at Newcastle before finishing fourth at Ayr. He may be a few pounds too high now but is still probably the chief danger to SAMMY B, a ready winner at Musselburgh when tackling a trip of note for the first time - a 4lb rise is not excessive. Late Date was in the process of running a big race at Ayr when unseating Joe Colliver but had been allowed an easy lead. Ronaldinho is 0-23 over hurdles so has plenty to prove but still makes more appeal than an out-of-sorts Gold Chain.
