This is a dreadful contest in terms of quality and it may be worth taking a chance with Inner Voice, who has run better in his last two starts over hurdles and on the flat, and he gets the vote ahead of Wensleydale Web and Another Jameson. The last mentioned has claims on the pick of her form but Malcolm Jefferson's mare is inconsistent and she may be best watched. Micky Hammond's Paddymcgintysgoat has given little sign of encouragement so far, while Talesofriverbank has been well held in all 11 starts so far. Daniel's Dream ran better last time but needs to improve again to trouble the judge. Wensleydale Web ran well here over the extended two miles last time but has yet to prove that she stays this far and a better bet looks to be Inner Voice. James Lambe's gelding ran better on his latest start over hurdles when fourth at Fairyhouse and has reproduced that improvement on the flat since then.
