In depth

Verdict

This should concern My Final Bid and Panthers Run with the first named just getting the vote, the pick of the newcomers could be Scout Leader. The selection belied odds of 100/1 on his debut in April, finishing an excellent second to the smart Rasharrow. He was comfortably beaten by five lengths but there were some decent enough types behind and he looks the best option here. Panthers Run was a very impressive winner at Gowran Park last October, he is now with a top yard that is bang in form and he is an obvious threat to all. Scout Leader as you would guess is by Supreme Leader and is related to numerous winners, any market support would be significant. The pick of the others is course winner Allegedly So, but My Final Bid looks the form choice and gets the verdict.
