Verdict

TAKE THE STAND is holding his form remarkably well and is selected to lead them home ahead of Cadoultique and Over to Joe. The last named has looked one paced in the vast majority of his outings, but showed signs last time that he is improving. Similar improvement here can see him hit the frame. Cadoultique has shaped consistently to be placed in recent point to points, and although his form under rules leaves something to be desired of late, he has done enough to suggest he to can be placed. However, Take the Stand is still running with great credit, and turned in another fine effort recently to hit the frame, having cut out most of the running. It would be a heartwarming sight to see the 13 year old lead them home.
