      Verdict

The ground would seem to be against Lindseyfield Lodge unless there is significant rain - and some is forecast - so with the proviso that a close eye is kept on the weather, BREAKWATER HOUSE is the selection, to upstage the more seasoned pair of It's A Roofer and Lady Sambury. It's A Roofer took this contest two years ago but has failed to score since, although he has been placed on his last couple of starts. He looks sure to be thereabouts but may need to come down the weights. Lady Sambury is only 5lbs higher than when scoring here recently over half a mile further. She looks sure to play a part, though that rise may be prohibitive, as could the shorter trip. Breakwater House also comes back in trip after a success at Kelso last time. He is 4lbs higher here, but that was only a novices' contest but he is relatively lightly campaigned and open to further improvement. The same cannot be said of his opponents and Breakwater House can overcome his inexperience.
