Verdict

Not much form to go on and, as ever in this type of event, the market should provide strong clues. However, Rosidavis has shown the ability to win a race of this nature and is handed the TEAMtalk vote. The four-year-old has run promisingly to finish runner-up on both starts to date and a reproduction of his effort when narrowly denied by a useful yardstick over course and distance last month should suffice. Gastornis showed the benefit of previous experience when a close second here recently and is entitled to be therabouts while Alphamericredonion, who was a promising fourth on his debut last month, looks best of the remainder and has place claims.
