    Verdict

An uninspiring contest from a betting viewpoint and it will be surprising if Argento cannot prevail against decidedly modest opposition. George Moore's charge has been placed on all tthree starts over timber and put up arguably his best effort when third behind a useful rival in a better contest at Catterick in June. The five-year-old has not been seen out since but would not need to be cherry ripe to take the honours. Magic Route has an absence of 11 months to overcome and has something to prove after being pulled up when last in action so the race-fit Hidden Exit, a fair third at Bangor last month, looks the one for the TEAMtalk forecast.
