A competitive contest with not much to choose between the principles, but Dragon King, Croc An Oir and Sylphide are the three to concentrate on and the nomination is given to Dragon King. The selection won well last time out when defeating Strongtrooper and although he has a penalty for that win he remains well-weighted on his best form and with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat. Croc An Oir rates the main danger as he won well when last seen defeating Baron Allfours, but that was 316 days ago and he may just need the run. Sylphide is another who won last time out but his best form is over a slightly longer trip and for that reason he is overlooked. Monks Error won a hunter chase in good style last time but he returns to handicapping on a high enough mark and at the age of 11 he will need to improve to win this competitive affair. This is a tough race to call, but we will side with the bold jumping frontrunner Dragon King as our idea of the winner.
