Verdict

Uncle Max, Hamadeenah and Diamond Joshua are all shortlisted in this desperate affair with the tentative vote going to Uncle Max. The selection was a fair third in a similar grade last time out behind Lowe Go and in what looks an easier race he is taken to score. Hamadeenah rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Doberman, but although he is on a fair mark he has not won for well over a year and the percentage call is to take him on. Diamond Joshua is another worthy of respect but he only has one win to his name and as his best form is with slightly more cut in the ground he is passed over. Penalty Clause is from a shrewd yard and could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour, but Uncle Max sets a fair standard and is taken to score.
