Verdict

The more exposed runners in the field appear to be very moderate indeed so we will take a chance on Forpetesake who can improve to beat Bowland Pride and Lojo. Linda Ramsden's gelding is one of the more expensive purchases, costing 37 thousand guineas as a yearling. He has had just one outing at Newcastle and although well beaten behind Council Member, the form has been given a boost with sixth placed Mozafin finishing second behind a decent type at Doncaster on Sunday. This represents a big step down in class for the selection and we are hopeful of a big run. Bowland Bride does at least boast winning form, a victory over course and distance last month, she should once again go very close. Of the others Lojo is starting to find her feet and could run into a place, but Forpetesake is expected to [progress from that debut effort and is given the vote.
