In depth

Verdict

Nick's Choice is weighted to get the better of Scarlet Mix and is selected as the one to be on here, Armagh South and Learning The Blues look the best of the rest and are worth considering for each-way backers. The former just edges the verdict on recent profiles and he may give the leading duo on the list the most to think about. Scarlet Mix copes with a little give under foot and wins in his turn. Alison Thorpe's charge is holding his form well and, although it will take a career best effort from him, the six-year-old is expected to throw down a strong challenge today. It is worth bearing in mind that all three of his British wins have been at Warwick and he needs to prove that he reproduce the goods away from his favourite track. Therefore, previous course winner Nick's Choice is the more attractive option this time around. David Evans' charge is well treated on the best of his previous form and the fact that he is being kept busy suggests that his connections are keen to strike while the iron is hot.
