      Verdict

      Sam Adamson gets weight off Burning Truth and that can sway things his way, with Sharp Steel and Doberman likely to play a part. Sam Adamson has won three times this year, and has really taken to jumping on summer ground. There was a lot to like about his latest success at Worcester, where he kept on resolutely when pressed by Just Reuben, and in his current mood, another success is on the cards. Burning Truth has been finding one too good and has to give the selection more than a stone, but would have prevailed had he stood up at Newton Abbot and was only denied on the run-in at Worcester last time. He is sure to be a threat again. Doberman and Sharp Steel are always there or thereabouts, and preference is for the latter who has not had as much jumps action as the others and who was was successful under today's pilot Noel Fehilly at Worcester in July. This is not a bad contest, and we feel that Sam Adamson can defy the handicapper again.
