Powerallied has done most of his winning at Chester and is 5lb higher than when successful there last time. MAYLEAF SHINE relished underfoot conditions when beating subsequent Leicester scorer Soie D'leau and the consistent Confessional here earlier in the month. Iain Jardine’s filly was raised 5lb for that but she may still be on an upward curve. Quench Dolly is very speedy but she faces a stiff task for a three-year-old on these terms. Tarboosh remains in good form, however, and Hoofalong is starting look very well handicapped. Poet's Society and Boundsy are recent winners who warrant respect.
