    Verdict

    Bascule posted a decent effort at Windsor on his handicap debut and first start over today’s trip but LOCKERBIE (NAP) is expected to improve over this longer distance now handicapping. The half-sister to stablemate and recent Group 3 winner Hamish gets the vote with an apprentice’s allowance further helping her cause. Sky Bright failed in a bid for a hat-trick when well beaten at Sandown but drops back down in class and is preferred to both Tele Red and Swinton Noon of the remainder.
