In depth

Verdict

COOLREE STAR has slipped to a handy mark and is taken to land this at the main expense of Captain Scooby. Our selection represents in-form trainer Jeremy Glover, and this trip on a sound or slow surface are his optimum conditions. He has now slipped to a mark 1lb lower than his sole turf success and can double that tally today. Captain Scooby would prefer rain to be seen to best effect. He should be competitive, though is better over the minimum trip. Conversely, Two Turtle Doves wants quicker going to be at her best, as she showed when winning at Thirsk last time. Revue Princess would be interesting if backed, but Coolree Star can shine.
