In depth

Verdict

A tough finale for punters to pinpoint the winner and the most tentative of votes goes to DOLLY PENROSE ahead of Tasheba and Tarkheena Prince. The selection handles this ground so well as proven when winning easily at York earlier on in the season. She was hit by the handicapper for that run but ran well in defeat at Newmarket behind Lady Dedlock, in the process showing that this mark of 80 holds no fears. Le Brocquay has a turn around in the weights with her on that York run and needs respect despite the handicap of top-weight in this ground, whilst Lough Diver and Sevenna are unexposed sorts who have shown ability. Always Bold needs to improve on recent runs, whilst Tasheba is the only horse to have lowered the colours of Askar Tau in recent months so must be feared. Tarkheena Prince is one to watch in the betting however it is Dolly Penrose who can end the day on a high.
