In depth

Verdict

Connections have been patient with Crazy Horse who looked to have a big career in front of him when winning at Haydock in May 2001. Training problems have beset this son of Little Bighorn who was not disgraced on his seasonal reappearance at this track last month. He travelled well before reportedly losing his action. Quazar won that race and and put up another quality performance in defeat at Newbury last time out. A reproduction of that form should see him in the shake-up. Image De Marque II rarely runs a bad race and although likely to be popular with punters he has not convinced on a quick surface to date and is one who will be hoping for overnight rain. Gralmano put in one of his best performances last time out but is another who would like a bit of juice in the ground. Comex Flyer is respected from Paul Nicholl's yard and comes here having run well in a competitive handicap at Fontwell 12 days ago. A winner on good ground in the past he should give Quazar most to think about having shown in the past to be very capable and very consistent. Looking back in the form book, Lorenzino can not be ruled out despite this trip not looking ideal. He has run well on a quick surface and at this track and looks on a reasonable mark. On the negative side he disappointed last time out.
