In depth

Verdict

Tamasou, second last time off a 4lb higher mark than his recent victory can score for the Garry Moss yard where Red Skipper and Wallonia appear the biggest dangers. It did take the selection some time to get into full gear at Haydock last time in deep conditions but he has proven himself adapt on the prevailing ground and should be thereabouts. Red Skipper comes here after a recent Musselburgh victory achieved in similar ground conditions to those he will encounter today. He remains open to further improvement while the yard continue in fine form. Wallonia made a very pleasing UK debut, relishing every yard of the seven furlong trip but beating a moderate field. This will prove a much tougher test while Natural Rhythm has disappointed in two starts since beating Tamasou although he has his conditions today. Tamasou can get back on the winning trail and land the finale.
