In depth

Verdict

Mark Brisbourne is as adept as anyone at placing his horses in races of this nature and Summer Shades is very much respected as she bids to follow up her victory in a fillies event at Windsor on Monday evening. However, she has to concede lumps of weight to the likes of Investment Affair and the Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old may be too tough to cope with on these terms. Yenaled and Apache Point can scrap it out for the minor honours assuming that they all stand their ground, but Investment Affair, who is officially only 2lb inferior to Summer Shades, is taken to edge Johnston closer in his quest for his 100th-winner of the season.
