Moonlight Man was unfavoured by the muddling pace set at Windsor on Monday evening. When pace was injected into the race two furlongs from home he was caught flat footed but stayed on late in the day. The worry would be that the race might come too soon but his form is as solid as any in the race. My Mentor has been racing over varying distances and looked to have found seven furlongs on the sharp side at Kempton last time out. Returning here to a mile will suit him while My Mirasol at the foot of the weights is ultra consistent of late but is edging up the weights. Both Lawyers Choice's victories have been achieved on the all-weather while Mount Hermon is 7lb higher for a course and distance victory last month and is up against it. Paint The Town Red landed a maiden over this course last time and the third from that contest finished second on Monday evening in the event contested by Moonlight Man off 76.
