Verdict

This maiden could potentially turn into quite a tactical contest with only four runners but Zaffaan, who never travelled on the lively surface last time put up an impressive performance in beating what looks a smart juvenile in Rileyskeepingfaith on his second start and providing he acts on this surface for which reservations must exist considering he found the fast surface unfavourable last time, he would be the one to beat. Stan's Cool Cat looked a smart filly at Chepstow although it was a weak maiden which she won. The form of her Warwick second over five furlongs has worked out well with the third Jargelle subsequently landing the Weatherby's Super Sprint. She is a straight forward filly which can be all important in these juvenile events and if allowed to bowl along at her own pace she could be dangerous as she ran right to the line over the stiff and undulating six furlongs at Chepstow. Celtic Spur was unfavourably drawn on debut at Kempton and ran green in the early stages but was doing his best work in the closing stages. Six furlongs could be on the sharp side for him even at this stage of his career. Rare Art is best watched in the market. Zaffaan is the pick to land this juvenile contest.
